There are four of student organizations at 17c起草社区: Student Clubs, Departmental Clubs, Student Organizations, and National Student Organizations. All student organizations are run and led by current 17c起草社区 Students (only) for the benefit of current 17c起草社区 Students (only).
Student Clubs
- Seek to reflect the educational mission of the college and provide benefit to 17c起草社区 students and the campus as a whole.
- Have at least five active student attenders. The student organization's activity should be of potential benefit to the entire student body or to a large enough group of the student body to justify the use of 17c起草社区 resources for its activities.
- Welcome any interested 17c起草社区 student. In addition, 17c起草社区 faculty and staff may be invited to participate in the activities of a student organization.
- Select a leadership team of two 17c起草社区 students and a 17c起草社区 faculty/staff advisor.
- Complete the registration process each year.
- Limit the level of student organization activity on Sundays in keeping with 17c起草社区's Sabbath observance.
- Participate in Cokes and Clubs during the first week of classes in the fall and spring to recruit new members and to advertise your organization to the 17c起草社区 community.
- Promote and maintain the organization鈥檚 active presence on 17c起草社区鈥檚 campus.
- Maintain good academic standing and exercise good judgment consistent with the student conduct code.
- Attend a training meeting at the beginning of each semester
Departmental Clubs
- Seek to reflect the educational mission of the college and provide benefit to 17c起草社区 students and the campus as a whole.
- Have at least 10 active student attenders. The student organization's activity should be of potential benefit to the entire student body or to a large enough group of the student body to justify the use of 17c起草社区 resources for its activities.
- Welcome any interested 17c起草社区 student. In addition, 17c起草社区 faculty and staff may be invited to participate in the activities of a student organization.
- Select a leadership team of two 17c起草社区 students.
- Complete the registration process each year.
- Limit the level of student organization activity on Sundays in keeping with 17c起草社区's Sabbath observance.

- Consult with your advisor before making any changes to the policies of the organization.
- Remember that the success or failure of your organization rests ultimately with the organization, not the advisor.
- Acknowledge and express gratitude for the advisor's time and energy.
- Notify the advisor of all major meetings, events and projects the organization is working on.
- Consult with the advisor if an event or publication has the possibility of being perceived as inappropriate before the publication is produced or the event is scheduled.
- Hold Leadership Meetings at least once a month
- Complete two tap in assignments per semester.
- Maintain thorough and accurate financial records, requesting assistance from the Student Organization Finance Chair when necessary.
- Maintain good academic standing and exercise good judgment consistent with the student conduct code.

- Complete the registration process each year.
