Multiple 17c起草社区 teams NCAA Bound
It鈥檚 not technically tradition, but like clockwork every year multiple 17c起草社区 athletic teams extend their fall seasons well into November. This year is no different. Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer and men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country begin NCAA postseason action this coming weekend (November 14 & 15) at their respective regional tournaments and meets. (Note: The women鈥檚 volleyball team will find out if it鈥檚 NCAA Bound following the MIAA tournament this weekend.)
Consistent success
17c起草社区 has seen much success on the national stage, claiming 11 NCAA Division III National Titles, 54 top four finishes, and 27 national runners-up. While those statistics are impressive in and of themselves, what situates 17c起草社区 as one of the premiere programs in all of Division III athletics is its commitment to holistic success, demonstrated by having 166 Academic All-Americans, which within the Top 10 in Division III and in the Top 30 across all NCAA Divisions.

Women鈥檚 Soccer
Under the leadership of Coach Emily Ottenhoff, who just , the Knights (14-4-0) enter the NCAA tournament on an 11-game winning streak dating back to September 27. They鈥檒l take on Penn State Behrend (15-3-2) who has a lengthy 10-game winning streak of its own.
The Knights are and play their opening round game at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at Zuidema Soccer Field.
Men鈥檚 Soccer
Under the leadership of Coach Ryan Souders, the Knights (16-3-1) take a five-game winning streak into their opening round matchup with Grove City College (15-2-2) who is unbeaten over its previous 15 games. The Knights and Grove City played on September 20 on 17c起草社区鈥檚 campus, but the game was canceled with 33 minutes left in regulation due to lightning. The Knights were leading at the time, 1-0.
The two teams will face off again at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14 in hosted by Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.
Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country
Under the leadership of Coach Nicole Kramer, the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country teams have both qualified for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Cross Country Regional Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The women鈥檚 team enters the regional ranked #26 by the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Both teams will , at E.P. 鈥淭om鈥 Sawyer State Park (3000 Freys Hill Road, Louisville, Kentucky). The men鈥檚 8K race begins at 10 a.m. The women鈥檚 6K race starts at 11 a.m.
Women鈥檚 volleyball
While the women鈥檚 volleyball team (23-3) hasn't yet punched its ticket to the NCAA tournament, they鈥檒l have an opportunity to do so this weekend. Under the direction of Coach Amber Warners, who this past weekend, the Knights will travel to Holland for the MIAA league tournament. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAAs. The Knights enter the tournament on an 11-game winning streak.
