Biography
I did my graduate work studying the activation of the enzyme urease, which converts urea to carbon dioxide and ammonia via a nickel catalytic center. After graduate school I spent a year as a post doc studying the role of P450's in traumatic brain injury in mice at MSU's College of Human Medicine. Since then I've been an adjunct faculty at 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø and at Davenport University, teaching a variety of chemistry and biochemistry related courses. My husband and I have a son who is starting kindergarten. As a family we enjoy spending time outdoors and around water.
