Dr. Benckhuysen is an ordained pastor in the Reformed Church of America and an adjunct professor at 17c起草社区 where she teaches courses on the Bible. Prior to serving at 17c起草社区, Amanda taught at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (2008-2014) and at 17c起草社区 Theological Seminary (2014-2021). She is the author of two books, and Immigrants, the Bible, and You (17c起草社区 Press, 2020), along with many articles published in academic and popular journals like The Banner and Reformed Journal.
