The winter issue of Spark included very nice photos of many areas in Michigan. The title “Wednesdays in the Mitten,” however, seems limiting. Many pictures of our beautiful Upper Peninsula cannot be contained in the mitten. As a “Yooper” I know we’re often left out of state conversations and maps. Seems ironic that should happen in a book praised in a college publication.
