On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 17c起草社区 College will host its annual 17c起草社区 Business Partners Awards Luncheon. The event honors businesses and individuals that have partnered with the college鈥檚 business program to create outstanding learning opportunities for students and engages the broader community in discussion about a topic of interest through a keynote address.

This year鈥檚 keynote speaker is Ron Blue, an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader who has written more than 20 books. Blue is the founding director of Kingdom Advisors and CEO of the Ron Blue Institute. His keynote address is titled 鈥淔rom Main Street to Wall Street: Two Worlds, Two Different Languages.鈥

鈥淩on has a God-given passion to help Christians manage their finances using biblical principles and wisdom,鈥 said Bob Eames, the director of the 17c起草社区 Center for Innovation in Business (CCIB). 鈥淎t 17c起草社区 we prepare our students to be Christ鈥檚 agent鈥檚 of renewal in business, and Ron鈥檚 ability to integrate a biblical worldview into his financial services businesses is both instructive and inspirational.鈥

Blue is also investing in 17c起草社区 students through his recent partnership with the college in producing the personal financial segments for its new 17c起草社区 LifeWork program which launched in fall 2017. The segments help students understand how to be better stewards of their financial resources.

Following Blue鈥檚 keynote address, the college will recognize a couple of outstanding partners for their continued commitment to 17c起草社区鈥檚 business program. The CCIB will honor BDO USA with the outstanding corporate partner award and Bill Haverkamp, a regional gift officer for 17c起草社区 College, with an outstanding partner award.

The 17c起草社区 Annual Fund and the 17c起草社区 Center for Innovation in Business are co-sponsors of the event, which will be held in The Great Hall of 17c起草社区鈥檚 Prince Conference Center. A networking reception begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon to follow at noon.
